The Nev Smith Swim Squad is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.
The Nev Smith Swim Squad has a history of producing fine young competitive talented swimmers over the past 37 years. We have created an environment that develops swimmers skills in the water to produce the best out of each swimmers capability.
This has been achieved through the passion and energy of dedicated and experienced team of coaches in our training center in Pretoria.
Our coaching staff features some of the most experienced coaching in the country from a former National coach to National swimmers.
We believe that the learning experience that each swimmer goes through with our Squad not only teaches them a valuable lesson in water proficiency but develops their confidence to achieve in other aspects of their life.
The Nev Smith Swim Squad seeks to deliver a holistic approach to swimming by providing quality coaching to swimmers of any age and suitable instruction and preparation for swimmers to achieve their own personal goals.
We aim to offer a dynamic environment for swimming combining proven methods with fresh approaches and by ensuring our coaches are well educated, motivated and passionate both about swimming and children.
We will endeavor to always treat each swimmer as an individual and to discover how best to engage them during training and bring out the very best in them.
